Looking to work as a class 4 unrestricted driver?
This licence opens up a world of opportunity for anyone looking to work as a commercial passenger driver.
A class 4 unrestricted licence permits you to drive:
- Buses with a maximum seating capacity of 25 persons (including the driver), including school buses, special activity buses and special vehicles used to transport people with disabilities.
- Taxis and limousines.
- For a ride-hailing service such as Whistle, Uber or Lyft.
- Ambulances.
- Any class 5 vehicle.
Driving passengers is a huge responsibility. Professional drivers put emphasis on safety and comfort while transporting passengers.
Our lessons are designed to elevate your driving to the next level. We focus on building observation skills and bringing safety to the forefront of every trip you drive. This begins with the pre-trip inspection and is followed through all the way until you drop off your passengers.
Course Outline
Course includes:
- Detailed guide for class 4 unrestricted pre-trip inspection.
- 3 hour group lesson on pre-trip inspection.
- 6 hours of 1:1 training with an experienced Class 4 driving instructor (three 2 hour lessons).
- Priority road test bookings - we organise it for you.
- Use of our Mercedes Sprinter van for your road test in Squamish.
Lessons will be arranged privately based on student/instructor availability.

Eligibility
Applicants should already possess a Class 4 Learners licence prior to booking. To get one, study for the test then drop in to an ICBC test centre to complete it. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.
